The methods for repairing the radiator are:
1.Emergency trapping method
During the journey, the radiator suddenly cracks and leaks, and the hole is not big. The following methods can be used to make up the leak: first drain the water in the radiator, remove it, and wipe the cracked water. Use a lighter carried by the vehicle to ignite a small piece of white or transparent plastic tube. By welding, the radiator can be immediately welded and blocked.
2, welding repair method
(1) Soldering can be performed for the de-welding crack at the joint between the core tube and the upper and lower support plates and the leakage of individual parts of the core tube. Pull out the heat sink at the leaking place, remove the dirt at the leaking place, apply zinc chloride solution or paste, then heat it with 300W electric soldering iron, and solder a layer of solder.
(2) When there is a large damage to the pipe wall, it is necessary to cut the copper bump which is slightly larger than the hole and 0.2 mm thick. Use a needle-nosed pliers to break the heat sink near the break and take it out. Rust off the leaking and patch surfaces with dilute hydrochloric acid, heat with a welding torch, and apply a zinc chloride solution, then spread the solder. After the patch is folded in half, wrap the hole, heat it with a welding torch, and then apply the zinc chloride solution. 3.Take over method
For the damage length of the heat pipe up to 4cm, the heat sink of the damaged part should be removed, the damaged die should be cut, and a pipe of 5~10mm longer than the broken pipe should be selected from the scrapped radiator, and then the piped pipe is slightly added. Expansion, the size of the flare is matched with the outer diameter of the joint, and finally the two tubes are sleeved together and welded by soldering.
4, the pipe blocking method
If the individual core tube is damaged for a long time and cannot be repaired or lacks repair conditions, this method should be adopted in time. Block the upper and lower ends of the leaking core tube so that they do not participate in the work. However, the number of blocked pipes should not exceed 10% of the total number of core tubes to prevent a reduction in heat dissipation area and a reduction in cooling effect.
5, pipe – pipe change method
If the damaged core tube cannot be repaired by the above method, repair it by replacing the heat dissipation core tube.
